Perhaps, it was due to the late arrival at Hetian last night; all of us woke up late. The first thing that we did today was to complete all the necessary items for the expedition, including the petrol, drinking water as well as food.
All vehicles were fully packed with necessary goods.
It was getting dark when we approached durrants hotel london. We could not speed up for security reason. Anyway, we need to find a place to stay overnight within 2 hours. However, the surrounding environment was very poor and upset. Suddenly, a small village appeared in front of us which really cheered us up.
We found a suitable site for camping about one kilometer from the main road. The village is about 2600 above sea level and this altitude is just nice for us to get use to the altitude.
All team members worked together in grand prince hotel kyoto for the preparation of dinner and we had a pleasant night.
